FOXBORO -- New England held practice in the rain on the upper grass field behind Gillette Friday. Tight end Michael Hoomanawanui was not spotted as expected. The tight end suffered an injury to his left knee in Monday's loss to Carolina and has been sidelined since. He was the only player missing.

Alfonzo Dennard (knee) and Steve Gregory (thumb), who were both inactive against the Panthers, put in another day of work this week. Brandon Bolden (knee) was also present, though stretching solo on the sideline while the rest of the team did some light jogging.

A full practice and participation report, which also details game statuses, will be released around 4 p.m. New England clashes with Denver on Sunday Night Football.
