Aaron Hernandez is making it awful hard for people to believe he’s not a violent psychopath.
The former Patriots tight end had to hand out a beatdown at the Bristol County Jail in Dartmouth on Tuesday, reports TMZ. Later Thursday, Bristol County Sherriff Thomas Hodgson confirmed the altercation.
Hernandez, who has been kept in isolation because of concern he would be targeted by other prisoners, was let out for a walk. He promptly beat the snot out of a fellow prisoner in a hallway.
The two prisoners hadn’t been seeing eye-to-eye. Evidently.
Hernandez was released by the Patriots on June 26, the same day he was arrested for the murder of semipro football player Odin Lloyd.
New England’s effort to recoup some of the $12.5 million signing bonus it gave Hernandez in August 2012 is ongoing.
Police believe Hernandez may have been the triggerman in a double-murder in the South End prior to signing that deal.
