FOXBORO -- Rob Gronkowski said Wednesday he’s feeling no undue pressure from the Patriots to return to the field before he’s ready to go.
“No, not at all,” Gronkowski said to a media throng similar to the one that’s showed up at his locker every Wednesday since the start of the season. “Everything is great around here.”
Over the weekend, The Boston Herald reported a divide between the Gronkowski “camp” and the team over whether he should be playing or not.

That was tamped down by our buddy Mike Florio at Pro Football Talk who reported Sunday that everybody was on the same page.
I asked Gronk directly if that was the case.
“Definitely,” he insisted. “We were on the same page from the get-to and we’re still on the same page. It’s going good. I’m progressing every week. I’m feeling better every week, getting stronger every week, getting in better condition every week. So I’m still sticking to the motto day-by-day.”
Gronkowski was out at practice on Wednesday and has been practicing in a limited capacity for some time.
“Just going out and practicing with the team is helpful every single week to get the chemistry back down, to get the timing of football down,” he pointed out. “Being out of football, the first couple of days out there, I can’t lie, it was like, ‘Whoa, I feel like a rookie real quick,’ because the speed was so quick. But I’m catching up. Everything is going good and everyone is doing fine. It’s just a normal week, working hard and getting better.”
