We knew this was coming. Just maybe not this soon.

Training camp hasn't yet arrived, but questions about Aaron Hernandez have already been fired off at one of his former Patriots teammates. First up? Rob Gronkowski, whose locker was once stationed right next to Hernandez's inside the Patriots locker room.

The Gronkowski family -- Patriots tight end Rob, his four brothers and their father Gordie -- did an interview with CBS This Morning to promote their new book "Growing Up Gronk." At one point, CBS's Don Dahler changed the subject to Hernandez, who is in jail facing murder charges, and according to reports, is being investigated for a double murder that took place in Boston last year.

Gronk appeared to be taken aback by the line of questioning.

"Next question," he said awkwardly. "I learned that from (agent) Drew Rosenhaus. Next question."

Gronkowski responded the same way to a follow-up question from Dahler, and the rest of the Gronks chuckled.

Getting nowhere, Dahler asked Gordie just how different Rob was from Hernandez. As the father answered with his own version of "no comment," Rob got up from his seat and threatened to leave the interview.

Dahler relented, saying, "Don't walk off. I'll change the subject."

Rob, clearly ticked but satisfied by Dahler's promise, decided to stick around.
