How would a Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium work? Would it work at all?

You already know that the Super Bowl is being held at MetLife Stadium in the New York / New Jersey area this season.

That's been met with plenty of opposition from some fans, players, and media. But the show will go on on Sunday. It doesn't look like it's going to snow. In fact, the weather shouldn't be that bad considering.

If it goes well, expect other cold weather cities to get serious about hosting the Super Bowl. Eagles Chairman/CEO Jeffrey Lurie said on Friday that Philadelphia would be a great place to host the Super Bowl.

So, if New York can do it . . . and Philly thinks it can do it . . . why not New England?

Would it be a good or bad idea if Gillette Stadium hosted a Super Bowl? Let us know, and be sure to watch Early Edition on CSNNE at 6:30 p.m. to see what Gary Tanguay and Kirk Minihane think.
