It's only been a few days, but it looks like Tom Brady and the Patriots are ready to play. So ready, in fact, that Mike Giardi said he is throwing the ball as if this were Week 9.

"He is in midseason form, both in the way he is throwing the ball -- he's really slinging it -- and in the frustration level with himself," Giardi said.

Brady threw a lot of good passes, including ones over Aqib Talib, Giardi said.

But while Brady played well, another quarterback didn't fare too well. Tim Tebow struggled on Saturday and was slow to make decisions, including one play in which he held the ball for 12 seconds, Giardi said, "and that doesn't happen to anyone."

Also at training camp, Giardi noted that Alfonzo Dennard, who was arrested for suspicion of DUI, was not discussing his legal issues with the media, and instead focusing on football and the season.
