There's been plenty of talk over the last 24 hours about how the Patriots would be a perfect fit for now openly gay Missouri defensive end Michael Sam, who is entering the NFL Draft.
Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick have already made statements saying they support Sam and will evaluate him based on his talents and that alone.
Add former NFL player Mike Flynn to the list of people who think Sam and the Patriots could be a match. He knows like the rest of us that Belichick would eliminate most of the hoopla surrounding Sam.
"[Belichick] controls the locker room," Flynn said. "He controls everything with this organization. he could squash any issues. It would be a great place and fit. And you think you have some pretty big leaders in the locker room that if they are on board publicly and quietly in the locker room it's going to be fine."
