It’s been a long time coming.
It took the Patriots to Week 9 of the NFL regular season for their offseason to breakout, as they beat up on the Pittsburgh Steelers, 55-31.
Michael Felger, Troy Brown, and Mike Flynn broke down the Patriots best offensive performance of the season on PostGame Live.
“Of course there are holes here, but I think the offense had a breakout game,” Flynn said. “And they needed it because they have struggled pretty much all season.”
The Patriots had three receivers, Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola, and Aaron Dobson, with over 100 yards receiving as they tore apart the Steelers secondary.
“I can’t recognize that Pittsburgh Steelers team anymore,” Felger said. “That looks nothing like the Pittsburg Steelers I’ve know from my childhood or my adulthood. Either way, Patriots offense breaks out.”
