After the NFL awarded Super Bowls L and LI to San Francisco and Houston, respectively, on Tuesday, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft proposed the Boston/Providence region as a site for a future Super Bowl.

While Super Bowls are typically held in warmer areas or indoor stadiums, Super Bowl XLVIII will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which could set the stage for Super Bowls being held in other colder stadiums in the future.

"We would love, one day, to hold it here if it's a good experience," Kraft said.
