FOXBORO -- Temperatures in the teens and 30 mph wind gusts moved the Patriots indoors for Tuesday practice.
Receiver Aaron Dobson was the only player not spotted at the Dana-Farber Field House. Dobson has battled a foot injury that kept him out of three games in December. He also hurt a foot in the first quarter of New England's regular season finale against Buffalo, and it's unclear whether he simply aggravated the old injury or suffered something new.
The Patriots had a full house, otherwise. Logan Mankins and Alfonzo Dennard, two players who did not practice last week, were back with the team.
A new player, wearing No. 84 on offense, was seen during team stretching. A roster spot opened after starting linebacker Brandon Spikes was moved to injured reserve Monday. The team, as of 11:30 AM, has not made an announcement regarding who he is.
