INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Let's just call this Manti Te'o Day.

When it was announced that the Notre Dame linebacker would speak Saturday, a certain giddiness befell reporters at the NFL combine.

How would Te'o handle scrutiny about the Fake Girlfriend Scandal? Would even five-percent of the press conference be about football? When will he, when will we all, be able to move forward?

The number of reporters surrounding his podium will likely be the biggest of this combine. Though, interestingly enough, the Pro Football Writers Association is taking a group of media in to watch offensive linemen work out at the same time Te'o speaks.

"You'll want to make provisions for that. That's just the risk you run," D. Orlando Ledbetter noted over the PA.

All the other linebackers, as well as defensive linemen, will speak today. It should be a busy session as this D-tackle class is considered an excellent one.

Specialists, O-linemen, and tight ends will be on the Lucas Oil Stadium field throughout the day.

Stay tuned.
