GRONK BRINGS DECISIVENESS
There’s no way to measure it, but the return of Rob Gronkowski has seemed to make Tom Brady seem more at ease in the pocket. Not a lot of pressure exerted by the Jets for most of the half but even so, Brady has been quick to make his read and deliver on time (cue the strip sack followed by the pick-six).

KERLEY A HANDFUL
Jeremy Kerley is the slot machine today for the Jets. He had five first-half catches for 68 yards and has been a problem on crossing routes. He drove Kyle Arrington to the bench in favor or Marquice Cole after Arrington couldn’t deal with Kerley in space.

THIRD-DOWN DISPARITY
The Patriots were 0-for-4 on third downs in the first half; the Jets were 6-for-6 on third downs before missing their final four.

JETS CHALLENGE MIDDLE
The Jets are not going to give New England a free ride with Vince Wilfork, Jerod Mayo and Tommy Kelly out. They challenged the Patriots with 22 first half runs, many of them right between the guard and center.
