Alfonzo Dennard was in a Lincoln, Nebraska, court room on Thursday to answer on a probation violation charge.
Dennard received 30 days of extra jail time, 100 more hours of community service, probation extended a year and he was ordered to stay away from alcohol.
CSNNE.com Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran said he spoke with an NFL spokesman and was told the league is still reviewing Dennard’s case.
“If the whiching decision is whether or not the player ends up in jail for his infraction than I think Roger Goodell has to look at this and say, ‘We are going to have to suspend and do something at league level as well,’” Curran said.
Dennard is scheduled to be back in court tomorrow on a DUI charge.
