Eight weeks into the season, everybody is still trying to figure out why Tom Brady is not playing at the elite level he has played at in recent years.
One reason could be from a hand injury that Brady might be suffering from.
Tom E. Curran and Michael Felger on Sports Sunday discussed what is affecting Tom Brady’s play this season.
“Right now, [Brady’s] confidence is off a little bit,” Curran said. “I think that has more to do with it than everything else. Because he is not sure what exactly is going to work.”
Even through the game against Miami, Brady’s supposed right hand injury didn’t seem to affect any of his throws.
“Overall, it’s not as bad as to say, ‘Look, I don’t know how I am going to get through this,’” Curran said. “I think if it was fingers it would be a bigger deal, but it seems to be the middle of the hand as you see him flexing. I didn’t see any throws either half that were really impacted in terms of spiral or velocity by soreness.”
