Tom E. Curran and Ron Borges joined Damon Amendolara on Sports Sunday to discuss what Wes Welker leaving the team and Danny Amendola joining the team means for the Patriots.

How will Tom Brady feel about it?

"I think he's more upset not so much about Welker in particular," said Borges, "but that he's back in the situation where, 'I have to train a whole new set of receivers again at 35, 36-years old, I really don't want to do that.' Quarterbacks become short-tempered as they get older. And so I think that's something he's not looking forward to."

But Curran thinks that in the long run the move will work out for the Patriots with Amendola.

"I think they're going to get an outstanding player," Curran said. "A kid who is a little bit faster, a little bit bigger, a little bit stronger. I know the knock on him is that he's injury prone, I contend that those are a couple of freak injuries … I think Amendola is going to be ultimately a better player in two years than Wes Welker will be.

Borges doesn't agree with Curran at all saying that Amendola will be better than Welker in two years, and says the Patriots will get "hospital bills".
