After 17 weeks of battling each other in fantasy football, Tom E. Curran was able to hold on and beat out Kay Adams.

Adams helped Curran recap the fantasy football season on Quick Slants and discussed why San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen was this year’s unsung hero in fantasy football.

“This is a guy who was not drafted,” Adams said. “Nobody knew who he was and he has become the favorite target of Phillip Rivers. He has five games over 100 yards. He’s making quite a case for himself as Offensive Rookie of the Year.”

While Allen is not a well-known name, Adams went with a household name for her fantasy MVP.

“Peyton Manning is of course the fantasy MVP,” Adams said. “He broke records. I don’t even have to spit out of his numbers because they’re so lofty. Peyton Manning, no doubt, hands down the fantasy MVP for this year.”
