The New England Patriots will get the NFC’s best on Sunday when they take on the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints come in at 5-0, and with a high-powered offense, the pressure is on the Patriots’ defense to slow down Drew Brees and company.

Glenn Ordway, Fred Smerlas, and Steve DeOssie on New England Tailgate talked about how New England will have to contain New Orleans’ offensive weapons.

“First thing you do is try to limit the damage,” DeOssie said. “These guys are going to get their catches, they’re going to get their touches. You have to make sure that they don’t get yards after the catch. You have to make sure you have somebody around them. And with [Jimmy] Graham in particular, more than just one guy.”

Sean Payton, who was suspended for all of last season, has returned to the helm this year, and his impact is noticeable.

“He is a very intelligent coach,” Smerlas said. “He has great leadership. He has great foresight and visionary when he is designing plays. He knows when to call them. The players love him. He is one of the greatest coaches in the NFL today. He has the whole package.”
