It was the second play of the third quarter, and the Patriots had ball.
As Brady snapped the ball and handed it off to LeGarrette Blount for a 12-yard run, Marcus Cannon got beat by his man, Charles Johnson.
Cannon fell to the ground, and as Johnson started to run by him, Cannon whipped his leg around to try to stop Johnson.
Instead, he caught the side of Johnson's leg, and Johnson went down in a heap.
Here's a shot of the leg whip:

He was in apparent pain, and eventually limped off the field. He was then carted off to the locker room.
Surprisingly, Johnson returned to the game later and was effective.
But that doesn't matter to Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, who Tweeted out his feelings about Cannon.
#61 for patriots is dirty. He intentionally tried to take me out last yr preseason as well. Thats uncalled for. A leg whip though. Come on!!— Gerald McCoy (@Geraldini93) November 19, 2013
Johnson told reporters after the game that Cannon found him and apologized.
