Former Patriots' linebacker Tedy Bruschi was one of twelve former collegiate players elected to the College Football Hall of Fame Tuesday.
From 1991-1995, he played for the University of Arizona and was a two-time consensus All-American during the '94 and '95 seasons for the Wildcats as a defensive lineman. In 1995, Bruschi was also the receipient of the Morris Trophy, awarded to the Pac-10's best defensive player.
Bruschi was drafted in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the Patriots and went on to help the team win three Super Bowl titles. In all, he played 13 season for the Patriots, was a member of five Super Bowl teams, and was a two-time All-Pro.
