The New England Patriots had their struggles and miscues in a 24-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

The Patriots dropped to 10-4 and lost their inside track on the number one see in the AFC with the loss.

Mike Felger, Troy Brown and Ty Law on Sports Sunday discussed what went wrong for the Patriots and how this loss impacts them.

“Every teams that comes in to play the New England Patriots now, they are going to be with that much more confidence that they can beat this team,” Law said. “The whole aurora of the Patriots being invincible, that day is gone. You don’t have to second guess yourself as a team, as a player when you play the Patriots. You can beat them with the right plays and the right mindset. You have a chance to win.”

On the 14-yard line facing a second-and-five in the final seconds of the game, the Patriots elected to throw the ball three times into the end zone, when some thought they should have tried to throw the ball underneath before making an attempt for a touchdown.

“I know people are talking about the fact that he [Brady] didn’t take a few more chances to get the ball a little bit closer, but hindsight is 20-20,” Brown said. “You look at the game that way, I thought he had some fairly decent shots at it. One that was in Amendola’s hands that the defensive back [Michael] Thomas just made a great play on and he stuck with it and was able to get the ball out.”
