Josh McDaniels has interviewed for the Browns head coaching job, but not many people think he's actually going to take it.

The same goes for Tom E. Curran and Greg Bedard, who joined Mike Felger on Sports Sunday to discuss.

"I think it's a little bit of a long shot for Josh.," Bedard said. "I think he really likes the situation he has. He has his pick of the litter in terms of coaching jobs. It's not like the Patriots are going to be bad next year if he sticks around. I think that maybe Bill [Belichick] and Josh are doing a favor for the Browns.

McDaniels is a sought after option, and the Browns aren't exactly a sought after team to coach for.

"Josh is looking for a perfect situation, and I don't think this is it," Bedard said.

Curran lists another reason why it might not be the right time for McDaniels no matter what team comes calling.

"All these different assistants that he has relationships with might be going with Billy O'Brien [with Texans], the other ones are here," Curran said. "If you don't have your own crew with you it makes it hard."
