The Patriots' (8-3) win over the Broncos (9-2) Sunday night gave them the No. 2 seed in the AFC - behind the Broncos.

But the fact that the Pats beat the Broncos has many wondering now if the Patriots are in fact the best team in the AFC. They do own the tiebreaker with Broncos, if the Broncos do lose again and finish the season with the same record as the Pats.

The guys on Sports Tonight discuss the other teams in the NFL and how good - or bad - they are.

The consensus? There isn't a lot to be afraid of.

While the Boston Globes' Ben Volin doesn't think the Pats could win in Denver, Mike Felger would actually take New England out there too.

The discussion then turns to what the Patriots should do with Stevan Ridley. Felger says the team doesn't need him to win a Super Bowl - and Gary Tanguay agrees. Volin disagrees though, and says you need to run the ball in the postseason and the Pats will need a change-of-pace back in there.
