Tom E. Curran and Mike Giardi go '3 and Out' as the Patriots prepare for the Broncos.

First up, a guy that didn't play in Week 12: Julius Thomas. The massive tight end tied for the team lead in touchdowns with 10. So how much does Thomas change things for Denver?

"Significantly," Curran said. "But not to the point where it's, 'Oh! It's Julius Thomas! He's a combination of Dave Casper and Kellen Winslow and Todd Christensen and Gronk!' It's going to get that way this week, and he's excellent, but it's not like the Patriots defense hasn't seen a good tight end before."

Giardi and Curran also discuss how - if possible - the Patriots make up for the loss of Rob Gronkowski, who was a huge part of Week 12's comeback.

And finally, the Pats are away in Denver. How does that affect them?
