After going down in practice Wednesday afternoon, Tom Brady has been diagnosed with a sprained knee. He is expected to make a full recovery, and all of New England can now exhale.
So now it’s on to the next question – will Brady see any action in Friday’s preseason tilt with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Foxboro?
“This might be the most important preseason the Patriots have had in a long time,” said CSNNE Patriots insider Tom E. Curran, “but I would say this; if it’s the second preseason game or the regular season that you’re concerned about, you take your time in the preseason.”
Brady coming up holding his knee channeled painful memories for some of Week 1 of the 2008 season, when Brady tore his ACL and missed the remainder of the season.
