The Celtics won on Sunday, pushing the series with the Knicks to five games. But no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the past.

Sports Illustrated's Ian Thomsen joined Gary Tanguay and Mike Felger on UNO's Sports Tonight to discuss the series and the future of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.

First up, why hasn't an NBA team ever come back from 3-0?

"Because the NBA playoffs, they're the one sport where the postseason reflects the regular season," Thomsen said. "You almost never see teams come out of nowhere."

The Celtics would therefore have a pretty tough road ahead, but they were determined to win Game 4 at least.

"You could tell that they were going to do everything they could to make sure they didn't lose in a sweep on their home court," Thomsen said. "Because I really think they've spent a lot of time talking, because Garnett is pretty close to calling it quits. I mean, I don't know for sure, but I'm sure if he was talking it last year, he was talking about it this year."

Will Garnett waive his no-trade clause this summer and play for another team? Will he play for any team at all, including Boston?

"If he doesn't want to play for Boston, it's just because he can't play anymore," Thomsen said. "He made it clear at the trade deadline he didn't want to go anywhere."

What will they do with Pierce if Garnett retires?
