A rebuild is right around the corner for the Boston Celtics, but how and when it begins is still to be determined.
Trade talks between the Celtics and Clippers have been off and on over the past week involving a deal that would send Doc Rivers and Kevin Garnett to Los Angeles. With Boston's best players nearing retirement, Danny Ainge needs to decide what direction to take his team. It appears that the team could be without Rivers, Garnett and longtime Celtic Paul Pierce when the offseason is all said and done.
But with the Clippers trade far from a guarantee due to league rules outlined by NBA commissioner David Stern, the Celtics may need to look at other options. On UNO Sports Tonight, Gary Tanguay, Andy Gresh, Dan Shaughnessy and Kirk Minihane discussed the potential trade and what the future could hold for the Celtics. All agreed that they are ready for a resolution to the story one way or another.
