From the moment he fell to the Celtics with the No. 10 pick in the 1998 NBA Draft to the moment his time with the team ended in 2013, Paul Pierce grew to become one of the greatest Celtics of all time.

The Captain - The Truth - was the staple of the Celtics organization, embodying everything it meant to be a Celtic. Pierce went through the lowest of lows - a near-fatal stabbing in 2000 - to the highest of highs - an NBA Champion and Finals MVP in 2008. His team went from cellar dweller to top seed in just one season with Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and the rest of the 2007-08 team.

Pierce may not put on the Celtics jersey next season, but we all know he still bleeds green, and will continue to do so for as long as he lives.

It's hard to picture the Celtics without Pierce, but after watching him play over the last 15 seasons, it's easy to see what it takes to become a true legend in Green and White. He's earned every bit of that honor.

Thanks for the memories, Paul.
