"No idea if he plays in a game or not, it may just be practice," Stevens said. "That's all to be determined and still very much just a talking point more than a certainty."
Stevens thinks Rondo will spend time in D-League

BOSTON -- Celtics coach Brad Stevens said that if Rajon Rondo is going to spend any time in the D-League with the Maine Red Claws before returning to Boston's lineup, it's going to be the point guard's decision.
"It's not really a rehab assignment as much to get your wind," Stevens said on Tuesday morning. "It's gong to be his call on those things. We talked about it with him and in our offices, but I think he will end up doing that at some point. And I think that from a conditioning standpoint and from a game simulation standpoint both in practice -- they got a few more days in between games to practice a lot of times -- and maybe even in a game, that would be good for people."
Rondo is still working his way back from a torn ACL suffered last season and has yet to play in a regular-season game for the C's. While a stint with the Red Claws may be beneficial in theory, it's nothing more than that at the moment.
