There wasn't any good news during the Celtics 102-91 loss to the Mavs. But good news did come after it when Celtics coach Brad Stevens talked to CSNNE's Abby Chin.
Asked about Rajon Rondo and his near 37 minutes of playing time, Stevens said there's no more minutes restrictions.
"I was told that he's no long a concern from a minutes standpoint," Stevens said.
Rondo shot 6-for-12 from the field on Sunday, but his teammates didn't have the same success
Boston shot a lousy 36-percent from the field during the game, and the Mavs pulled away from them in a big way during the third quarter and beginning of fourth quarter.
"I think the percentage was reasonable in the second [quarter]," Stevens said. "It was 27-percent in the first and I don't know what it was in the second. Obviously we finished at 36 [percent] so we shot it better for the second half, but most of it was at the end. We weren't moving at the right pace until the end of the game."
