Is Rondo playing Wade role and recruiting Love, 'Melo?

Boy, did I get this wrong. I know most of are not surprised by that and even some of you take pleasure in my mistakes. Glad to make your day.

I felt Rajon Rondo’s days with the Boston Celtics were numbered -- and they still might be -- but this whole Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love topic got me thinking.

The guy I thought was leaving town is putting the Celtics’ next contending team together. Rondo isn’t about to be traded by Danny Ainge; he’s doing his damn job. And this is no shot at Ainge. As you know, Danny can’t talk with Kevin Love or Carmelo Anthony. That would be tampering, and that’s a no no. But, nothing can stop Rondo from selling Love and Melo on coming to Boston. Think: Dwyane Wade to Chris Bosh and LeBron James.

Does anybody really think Rondo “just happened to be at Fenway” when Love decided to check out the Sox? If you do I have a parquet floor to sell you.

Like Dwyane Wade did with Chris Bosh and LeBron James, Rondo is trying to recruit Love and ‘Melo on becoming Celtics.

Has Love decided to visit any other NBA cities? Not that I know of.  Plus, ‘Melo wanted the Knicks to make a deal for Rondo. Both played at Oak Hill Academy. And what offensive minded player wouldn’t want to play with Rondo?

So, if these deals go down we will have Rajon Rondo to thank and I will be the first one to do it.

Crazy. The guy I thought was bringing down the Celtics might put them back up where they belong.
