Rondo: Celtics chemistry will be there

Rajon Rondo has been in the news this summer for being the one Celtics teammate who probably welcomed Ray Allen's departure from Boston.

Well, now that Allen's gone, we've finally heard from the C's point guard about what he thinks of next season's team. No real surprise here, but he likes how it looks so far.

"I'm excited about Jason Terry, excited about Jeff Green and Avery Bradley getting back from a shoulder injury so I'm looking forward to this team this year," Rondo said while at the Nike World Basketball Festival in Paris. "We got a a lot of guys back from last year, we signed Brandon Bass we signed Kevin Garnett so we're gonna have the chemistry there, we just gotta add a couple of new pieces."

Not a whole lot of lamenting the loss of his former backcourt mate there, but why would he? Rondo has plenty of reasons to feel good about the Celts in 2012-13. Between himself, Paul Pierce, Garnett, Bradley and the signings Danny Ainge has made this offseason, the Celtics should be one of the top two or three teams in the East.
