Rondo, O'Neal make trip to Cleveland

BOSTONA Boston Celtics team official confirmed Monday that Rajon Rondo (right wrist) and Jermaine O'Neal (left knee)both traveled with the Celtics to Cleveland, meaningboth close enough to returning for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers.

Keyon Dooling (right hip pointer) is the only player not on the trip.

Rondo continues to wear a brace on the wrist, but has gradually increased the amount of work he does without it. And O'Neal appears more likely to play, considering a decision made by both he and head trainer Ed Lacerte for him to not play on Sunday did not come until minutes before tipoff.

Even if O'Neal returns, there's no guarantee he'll be put back in the starting lineup upon his return.

As for Rondo, there's no point guard controversy to speak of. When the two-time All-Star is fit to return, he'll be back in the starting lineup while Avery Bradley and E'Twaun Moore will slug it out for playing time behind Rondo and Ray Allen.
