BOSTONKevin Durant is putting together yet another MVP-like season for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
But far too often, his mind wanders away from the game and on to his former Oklahoma City teammate Jeff Green.
Green, who was part of the Kendrick Perkins trade in February, is out for the entire season after surgery on Jan. 9 to repair an aortic aneurysm.

We hear a lot about how the trading of Perkins impacted the Celtics.
But Durant, who has known Green ever since the two were teens in the DC area, was just as devastated when Green was dealt to Boston.
"He's like my brother. We came in together. We were drafted together. We traded Ray Allen for him," Durant told Comcast SportsNet. "Me and Jeff been through a lot. It hurt me for a while that he wasn't there with us every single day."
And with him being sidelined all season, Durant says that has been even tougher for him to stomach.
"I dedicate the season to him," Durant said. "I talk to him all the time. He supports me. I support him."
Shortly after learning that Green would be out for the season, Durant said Green still remained relatively upbeat about the situation.
"Jeff is a positive person," Durant said. "I learned so much from him. No matter what, he stays positive. Through the toughest times, he's still smiling and laughing and enjoying himself. It's tough to go through what he went through. I pray for him every single day. He knows he'll be back better and stronger. I can't wait for that day. I know he can't wait."
