BOSTONThe injuries continue to pile up for the Boston Celtics.
Boston's super sub Brandon Bass (knee) will not play in today's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
"It's accumulation of the games," said Boston head coach Doc Rivers. "It had some swelling in it. They're just going to sit him."

Without Bass, that means the C's will lean more heavily on Chris Wilcox and rookie JaJuan Johnson.
Wilcox told CSNNE.com that not having Bass won't change the way he approaches today's game.
"My role stays the same," Wilcox said. "I'm just got to go out and keep competing, playing hard. Nothing else changes with me."
It's unlikely that Bass' injury will sideline for too long a period of time. The 6-foot-8 forward has been a steady performer coming off the Celtics bench this season. In 22 games, he is averaging 11.8 points and 6.3 rebounds while playing a career-high 29.2 minutes per game.
The news wasn't totally bad on the injury front for the Celtics on Sunday. Jermaine O'Neal (right knee) was questionable for today's game after having an MRI performed on Saturday.
O'Neal told reporters before tip-off that he would play, and Rivers confirmed O'Neal would be in the starting lineup.
As far as the MRI results, Rivers said, "he's good to go, which is good."
