BOSTON -- After playing 19 of their first 28 games at the TD Garden, the Boston Celtics are hitting the road for a four-game road trip heading into the All-Star Break.
They leave behind an 11-8 home record, one marked by a mix of blowouts, grind-it-out wins, and losses they let slip away.

Home Wins: Detroit Pistons, Washington Wizards, New Jersey Nets, Toronto Raptors (twice), Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers, New York Knicks, Memphis Grizzlies, Charlotte Bobcats, Chicago Bulls

Following a frustrating 98-88 loss to the Pistons on Wednesday night (in which they trailed by just one after the third quarter), the C's will fly to Chicago to face the Bulls on Thursday. They will then travel to Detroit, Dallas and Oklahoma City to round out the trip. The Celtics have lost to each of those five teams already this season.
Despite being 4-5 on the road, coach Doc Rivers isnt weighing the away games with any more significance than the games played in Boston.
That part doesnt bother me at all. The road-home schedule hasnt, never did, he said. I think were really good on the road. I think like Ive said, so far weve proven we can beat anybody and lose to anybody. Thats the maddening part. What we havent proven is that we can be a consistent basketball team, and thats where we have to get to.
