Napier, 20 others invited to NBA draft's Green Room

BOSTON —  UConn's Shabazz Napier is among the 21 players invited to the NBA draft's Green Room which is annually reserved for the players projected to go early in the first round.

Of the players invited, Kansas' Joel Embiid will be the only one scheduled to not attend the media availability period on Wednesday afternoon.

Embiid recently underwent surgery on his right foot that's expected to keep him sidelined for at least four months. Despite the injury, the 7-foot center is still expected to be among the first handful of players selected on Thursday.
