BOSTON — You didn't think the Celtics and Knicks could go an entire playoff series without Carmelo Anthony's wife, La La Vazquez, entering the fold, did you?

Earlier in the season, Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony got into it on the court -- and later, outside the C's team bus -- for something that Garnett reportedly said about her. The beef was later squashed by both players, and it appeared both teams had moved on.

Not so fast.

After Game 5, Celtics guard Jordan Crawford, who didn't play, got into a shouting match with Anthony and other Knicks teammates, and again, Anthony's wife was reportedly brought up.

La La took to Instagram yesterday to take a shot back at Crawford, writing "Try again. You on the bench for a reason."

Anthony was asked about that at the team's shootaround on Friday, and he has no issues with his wife sticking up for herself.

"I would be upset too if I was her," he said. "She always gets thrown into the mix of the Boston Celtics series, so I would be upset. She's her own person so she has the right to say whatever she wants to say."

Anthony once again didn't want to entertain anything that came out of Crawford's mouth after the game.

"That's nonsense to me," he said. "I don't pay attention to that. I told you the other day it wasn't worth typing that."
