BOSTON — The green light from the Boston Celtics' medical staff is all that stands between Courtney Lee returning to the floor tonight for the Celtics.
"I feel good," Lee told CSNNE.com shortly after getting up shots prior to tonight's game against the Atlanta Hawks. "I have to go back here and see the doctors, see if there's any more swelling."
Lee suffered a sprained left ankle injury in the fourth quarter of Boston's 110-106 loss at Memphis on Saturday.
The injury wasn't considered too serious, but it has kept the 6-foot-5 guard/forward sidelined for the last two games.
His possible return isn't the only good news for Boston.
Atlanta center Al Horford (stomach flu) is not expected to play tonight, robbing the Hawks of leading scorer (17.6 points) and rebounder (10.3) this season.
