Much talk has been about who could be a member of the Celtics in the future - whether it's an already-proven NBA player or a prospect. But let's not forget about the current ones like Rajon Rondo.

Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck joined 98.5 The Sports Hub on Wednesday to discuss not just the draft, but Rondo.

He was asked if he felt pressure to build a team fast to surround Rondo seeing as that he's a free agent at the end of next season.

"I feel pressure every year to be on track and to be trying to get somewhere and having guys around who want to be there and want to dig in," Grousbeck said. "So we have guys like that and Rondo is one of them. There's no question that this guy plays with like a broken elbow, ripped knee, and deserves all the accolades he's got including being voted an All-Star starter and winning and Championship. And Brad [Stevens] and and Danny [Ainge] feel the same way about him, about building around him. So I'm not worried about Rondo. He was in the building this morning working out hard and he looks great. He's killing it. He looks like the old days before the knee, so I'm happy to report that Rondo went through a hard workout and looked good to me."
