If the Celtics are looking to maximize the return on their assets and build for the future, they may have to consider dealing Jeff Green.
Celtics play-by-play man for Comcast SportsNet New England Mike Gorman told The Sports Hub's Toucher and Rich show that when he talks to people around the league about potential Celtics deals, the name that most often comes up is Green's.
Gorman explained that Green's contract -- he makes about $8.3 million this year and is scheduled to make about $28 million over the next three years -- wouldn't deter any serious suitors.
"In the crazy world of the NBA," Gorman said, "$8 million isn't going to scare anyone away."
Gorman also said that he believes Rajon Rondo is at the top of the list of players the Celtics don't want to trade.
