BOSTON -- Kevin Garnett has already been through 16 trade deadlines in the NBA. Even though the upcoming deadline is less than one week away, he is more concerned about the next game the Celtics have to play this weekend.
Following their 104-86 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, the Celtics were looking ahead to their eight-game road trip which begins on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers and ends in Philadelphia against the 76ers on March 23.
In the midst all the traveling is the trade deadline on March 15, an off-day between games against the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings.
Its what it is, said Garnett. This is a business and we all know that. If you dont, then you better catch up. I havent even thought about Wednesday until you brought that up. I think everybodys focused on this road trip and getting this first game and
Packing, which is something Ive got to do, he said light-heartedly. So Ill see you guys later.
