There's an old saying, "you can't get something for nothing." The Celtics did just about that when they traded one player who was out for the year and another who was struggling to see action in exchange for Jordan Crawford.
A. Sherrod Blakely says the fact that the Wizards were willing to take almost nothing in return for Crawford should raise some eyebrows, not to mention some serious concerns. Why did a team practically give away a legitimate scoring threat off the bench?
The Celtics and their fans will need to keep a close eye on Crawford to see how he fits in the Boston locker room and on the court.
