BOSTON The Boston Celtics have a bit of good news on the health front heading into tonight's Game 7 matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Celtics guard Keyon Dooling told CSNNE.com that he plans to available tonight after being too sick to practice on Friday.
"I'm good," Dooling said after a pre-game shooting regime that included a number of catch-and-shoot 3-point attempts. "I'm alright."
While the Celtics will certainly welcome any scoring from Dooling tonight - he's averaging just 2.3 points per game in the playoffs - he'll likely make a greater impact with his defense.
With Avery Bradley having season-ending shoulder surgery on Friday, the Celtics will be without their best on-the-ball defender.
Dooling will in all likelihood be called upon at times to help the C's in their quest to limit Jrue Holiday or Lou Williams who each had their way at times in getting into the lane and causing problems for the Celtics in Boston's Game 6 loss.
