Dickerson expects NBA deal next week

As speculation flies around about the possibility of a deal between the NBA players and owners, Greg Dickerson and Gary Tanguay are still far apart in their ideas of if or when a deal will get done.

Dickerson believes a deal will get done sooner rather than later.

"They've come too far, they've compromised too much for this deal not to happen." said Dickerson, "They will come back together on Monday. They will still get a deal done by sometime next week."

Tanguay disagrees with his colleague. Tanguay believes the owners will not budge from their stance for a 5050 split of the BRI. He believes the players will change their minds once their bank balances don't change on November 15th.

"The players are going to have to miss checks because the owners are going to dig in." said Tanguay, "The check doesn't actually hit the back until November 15th. When they don't see that two million, three million going into the bank. . . that's when they will start to feel it."
