Clippers reportedly pursuing Kevin Garnett

It's that time of season, and the Celtics are certainly one of those teams.

Trade talk.

The C's have and will be a part of it until the trade deadline, and a report surfaced today that the Los Angeles Clippers are interested in Kevin Garnett, and want to trade guard Eric Bledsoe and forward Caron Butler for him.

Is Danny Ainge interested?

"I guarantee you he's taking a ton of calls and he's thinking about this," Donny Marshall said on Celtics Postgame Live with Gary Tanguay. "I don't know if he's calling teams. Again, he would never tell us. But you'd have to imagine that he's listening to it. Bledsoe, he's a scoring guard, he's a point guard."

But what about Caron Butler? He's at the end of his career, but can still play a bit.

"Maybe that's kind of maybe to push Jeff Green along a little bit to inspire him to play, because Caron Butler obviously he's been an All-Star, he's played some great basketball, with some great teams, and some great players."

Even so, it doesn't look like Marshall of Tanguay think it's going to go down. KG is just too valuable to the team right now.

"I think KG right now is playing so well that I would hate to see him leave," Marshall said. "I can't imagine him leaving. On this team, he's my favorite player because of the way he'scontinuing to play at his age. I'd hate to see him go."

"I think that KG would say no way," Tanguay said. "If the Celtics are playing the way they're playing now, he's not going to waive the no-trade clause."
