Desperation was the key word prior to Game 3, but the Celtics didn't play with much of it in a 90-76 loss to the Knicks.

With the loss, the Celtics find themselves in a 3-0 hole and the prospect of getting swept and ending their season on their home court.

Tempers flared when J.R. Smith drew a flagrant-2 foul for an elbow to Jason Terry's head.

After the game, the Celtics sounded a determined tone that they would come out and continue fighting until there were no games left.

With no room left for error, they're running out of time.
