Jared Sullinger has proven to be one of the best young players on the Celtics. Can he be the next Kevin Love?
That may be asking a lot, but it's what we asked our Celtics Talk TV crew -- A. Sherrod Blakely, Kyle Draper and Jimmy Toscano -- this week.
Sherrod gets right down to it. Sullinger has the ability to be the next Love, he says. The Ohio State product simply needs to get his body in shape. Now that he's healthy, he'll have the chance to do that this offseason and mold himself into an elite player.
Jimmy's not so sure. Love's outside game is so developed -- he averages 2.3 threes made per game this season -- that it's impossible to say if Sullinger will ever get to that level. Sullinger's rebounding, however, will only continue to improve and he'll eventually be one of the game's best on the boards, according to Jimmy.
