BOSTON — The Boston Celtics continue to look to the East - the Far East - for talent to bolster their injury-riddled roster.

The latest addition comes in the form of Shavlik Randolph who has signed a 10-day contract with the C's and will be in uniform (No. 42) tonight against Golden State.

And like Boston's other 10-day contract signees - Terrence Williams and D.J. White - Randolph comes from the Chinese Basketball Association.

Randolph, a five-year NBA veteran with stints in Philadelphia, Miami and Portland. In 95 games, he averaged 2.4 points and 2.4 rebounds while playing 8.2 minutes per game.

The 6-foot-10 forward spent this past season with the Foshan Long Lions of the CBA, appearing in 28 games while averaging 32 points and 14.6 rebounds in 36.5 minutes per game while connecting on 53.1 percent of his shots from the field.

The Celtics' roster now stands at the NBA-maximum of 15, although that can change as early as today when the C's have to make a decision on whether to keep Terrence Williams.

All indications are that the C's will sign Williams to a second, 10-day contract.
