Earlier this week Brandon Bass, Avery Bradley, and Greg Stiemsma of the Celtics visited Perkins School for the Blind for a special sports roundtable discussion with students. The trio answered questions asked through various communication methods, including braille, tactile sign language, and electronic note takers.
"This was a very educating experience for me," Stiemsma said. "It was amazing to see all the different forms of communication used by these students. I enjoyed answering some of the questions the students had about reading and playing basketball.
Following the roundtable, hosted by Fox 25s Gene Lavanchy, Bass, Bradley, and Stiemsma signed autographs for the students. (Photos courtesy of the Boston Celtics)
