It won't make much of a difference on the court, but the Celtics will be without Keith Bogans. The team made the announcement on Tuesday night that they have excused him indefinitely.
There was no reason given for exclusion, other than "personal reasons".
Bogans, who was part of a package trade over to the Celtics during the offseason, is making over $5 million this season - all guaranteed - as to make the trade between the Nets and Celtics work.
Despite the contract, Bogans has seen little to no playing time.
He's played in just six games for the Celtics this season, averaging 9.2 minutes per game. In contrast, Bogans appeared in 74 games for the Nets last season, making 26 starts, and averaging 19 minutes per game.
The Celtics announced that Bogans remains under contract with them during this time.
